The original Kawai Silent function allows you to play the piano through headphones at any time of day or night without having to give up a real piano.

With the Anytime piano, you can play and practice at any time - day or night - without disturbing your family or sensitive neighbors. But even when disturbing other people is not an issue, sometimes a pianist wants to practice all by themselves. Whenever circumstances require quiet playing, the Anytime piano is the ideal choice.

Musical enjoyment through digital flexibility

Kawai Anytime Pianos have the capabilities and flexibility of digital pianos. Through the MIDI interface, all possible digital devices, such as computers with notation software, sound modules, or auto-accompaniment machines, can be connected to an Anytime piano, making it easy and pleasant to use for composition, recording, or with a digital backing band. Via the stereo AUX output jacks, you can connect the Anytime piano to additional amplifier systems, recording devices, or your home stereo system. Two stereo headphone jacks are useful for practicing with a piano teacher or with a partner for 4-hand playing. In Anytime mode, the transpose function can be activated to play a song with an easier fingering. This function particularly helps less experienced piano players.

The interaction between our highly developed technology and our well-trained piano builders makes the full, clear sound of the Anytime pianos possible. The keyboard is balanced and regulated to transmit the smallest and most sensitive nuance of the pianist. Kawai's exclusive Millennium III action accurately transmits the dynamics of the touch into the vibration of the string. These vibrations are absorbed by the soundboard, made of carefully dried spruce wood, and amplified to a full, round tone. Laminated braces reinforce the piano frame to minimize loss of sound energy and to achieve a powerful bass and clear treble with long sustain.
